I know how it feels to have something like that happen to you. At this point the most you can do is pray and ask God to guard your heart until his appointed time! Pray every time you begin to think about him, pray that God removes him from your heart. Whenever I feel like this I say this really quick prayer that I keep handy in my phone...If you want extra help, read ';I kissed dating goodbye'; by Joshua Harris, it will really give you a new perspective on relationships, how they work, and how to get over someone with a Christian viewpoint.
Lord help me to appreciate this person without elevating Him above You in my heart. Help me to remember that no human can ever take Your place in my life. You are my strength, my hope, my joy, and my ultimate reward. Bring me back to reality, God; ';give me and undivided heart.'; -Psalms 86:11Christians- how do you cope with a breakup?
Jesus said; Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Did you stop to think that just maybe God has someone/something else in mind for you?
Pray for His will always in your life. He sees and knows things you cannot see and know.
Maybe he saw his mission in life was to bring you back to Christ. Since he accomplished his mission, he has to move on. Maybe it's in God's plan for him to move on and get out of the way so that you'll meet the person you really want to be with. I believe we are on this earth for God's reason and on His time schedule. When our mission on earth is done, we die, to move on to another task. Things happen to us for a reason. Life, with its ups and downs, is a training program. We will lean eventually. We are not to know or question God about why things happen to us. We will know in due time.
Sometimes it's hard for us to know why God lets things happen that appear to be for the worse, but we just have to trust that He knows what He's doing and that He's leading in our lives.
';As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.'; Isaiah 55:9 NIV
';And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.'; Romans 8:28 NKJV
';Don鈥檛 worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.'; Philippians 4:6 NLT
honey the reason he was placed into your life was to help being you back where you needed to be
i know in the midst of the pain, its the hardest to see that
who he ';really'; is, is ok, its what you're supposed to be seeing right now
to make the separation easier for your heart to handle
its ok
imagine ... who god has in store for you next
just imagine
god knows things about your needs and the desires of your heart that you dont even know
trust him
trust that this is a time for your own personal growth right now
so that he can prepare you for the incredible man of god he has chosen for you
Obviously I don't know your exact circumstances, but I do know that a lot of people aren't exactly the people they seem to be. For some reason or another, some people manage to live two different lives -- one inside and one outside. And sometimes the hidden, inner person manifests. That can explain why some people can change so suddenly. And it can be very cruel and hurtful to others who are caught up with the external image.
Maybe you are lucky to have this happen so soon, cuz the inner one is usually the truest.
Move on. Time will make it better. And try really hard to be more careful with your heart.
