Get selfish for a while and think of only you. Pamper yourself, go shopping, distract yourself with films, books, get a facial or a body massage, go to the gym, go for long walks, catch up with old friends who you may have neglected during the relationship, and if all else fails, get a little drunk!!!How is the best way to cope with a relationship breakup?

keep yourself occupied,join a health club or a social club,hang out with your friends a lot,avoid his phonecalls or calling him,don't jump into a new relationship immediately
distraction - try and fill your time as much as you can, avoid the other person as much as possible it will just give false hope, avoid alcohol
breaking up is very much like a bereavement, you have got to give your self time to greive. All people are different some it takes weeks some longer but the out come is the same.We have all had this happen to us in some form,and not trying to belittle how you feel,it will get better with time.Surround yourself with your select best friends who understand your situation, and try not to get into another relationship yet it will only confuse you.But mostly don't be ashamed to show your emotions, it helps to cry a little.
have a breakup party - lots of friends who bring lots of wine - and have a HUGE bonfire and burn all the stuff that belongs to the evil one. Then get really drunk, have a good cry and look forward to tomorrow. Works every time.
